When we get a lot of snow it usually means that schools are going to be closed, headaches when it comes to driving and figuring out what you are going to do when it come to watching the kids while you still have to work and plans that have to be rescheduled.
So when you here on the news that we are going to get quite a bit of snow and evan ice we usually begin to panic. But what should we do instead?
As I was watching the snow falling this morning it just began to calm me and to slow me down and open my eyes and ears to here what the Lord was saying to me, but if it was not for that snow I would have totally missed His still small voice trying to speak into my ear. But I had to much other stuff going on. And it is not that the thing that I had going on where not of important's or bad. I was actually concerned about having to change up our DTS schedual, be concerned about driving conditions for me, family and friends and many other things.
But once I looked out the window and saw what God had created w/ His beautiful snow that had covered everything and brought out this calming pure peace and made all quite for that instance. Just seeing how the snow covered everything and made us all stand still to actually a quietness.
It was exactly what I need. Was something to interupt my life for just even an instance to allow me to hear the Lord and give me that much need peace, joy and renewed patiences.
So what I say is always keep an eye open and ear atent to what is going on b/c God my trying to speak to you but your life's volume might be just a bit to loud, so you are drowning out God. And that very prayer that you prayed about this afternoon or the other day quite possible been answered during your drive to work or lunch break but it was just to loud.
God bless and be attentive to His voice.
